The BLOSS Gel Cuticle Pusher is essential for prepping the nail for BLOSS Gel application, and also assists in the removal of gel polish. The curved end of the tool is for pushing the cuticle (dead skin) away from the nail. This prevents the gel from lifting over time as gel polish does not adhere well to the skin. The sharper end of the tool is for scraping the remainder of the dead skin off your nail. The scraper tool can also assist in removing the gel polish after using BLOSS Gel Remover. It is recommended after using the cuticle pusher to remove the cuticle using BLOSS Gel Cuticle Nippers, however, this step is not essential. As long as the cuticle is pushed back and no dead skin remains on the nail, your manicure will last a long time as this step prevents lifting.
